When I was pregnant people thought I was about 14 although I was 24 and I got some unsavoury looks and comments.
I have a medical condition that sometimes makes it difficult to swallow but it's my natural size and I've never dieted although I do have a lot of exercise but eat 3 meals a day as well as snacks most of the time.

caththecrazy, I didn't mean to say that everyone that is that slim are starving themselfs I do know there are people who either have a medical condition like yourself or that eat all they are and lucky them don't gain weight, just like big people who also might have a medical condition but no one cares when they look at them, to them those people are just greedy and fat... its a sad world we live in...
We all want to loose weight or gain weight but going back to this post, the winner of America's next top model is NOT fat and for people to think that looks fat is a bit sad...

The one on the left does not look as healthy or as appealing as the other two. but I won't judge her for that if that is her 'normal' look / weight.
It is just a shame that it is like this-yet it is part of human nature to see first, and make our descisions based on appearance or looks. We are no different from other species in this regard.

I know you didn't mean to come across that way pasta. It just seems that most people feel that it isn't rude to call thin people all sorts of names (someone in the news section the other day said we should be in freak shows),yet if I were to call someone names because they were overweight I would be verbally attacked for doing so!
None of us have any right whatsoever to criticise anyone else because of their weight/shape.

She says she is 14......posted-she says - for a friend the other day......asking how to become anorexic..
Daffy...I have often had the impression that more find it acceptable to label and comment on the over weight rather than the super slim. But maybe with all the recent media attention re size zero models,etc...that may be changing. Unfortunately, many may also connect super-slimness with eating disorders,as opposed to excess weight which too many blame on greed. ie-one can be controlled...the other can't.

I blame the media for all this and models do appear thinner all the time but many of them admit to starving themselves.
Baby you try finding clothes to wear in a size 4 not many shops - that I can afford to shop in stock them - sometimes I go to clothes shop parties and my friends will get my clothes for their 12 year old daughters.
SuDFB - sorry my post seemed a bit rude towards you now I've reread it no offence meant
Pasta you're right about wanting to look thinner sometimes I look at my tummy and think hmmh but know it isn't going to go away - stems from having my boys.
