I am looking into this to see if it would be good experience or not. I have to pay them £120 for start up kit plus £25 for insurance. Does anyone work for them and are they a good company to work for? At the minute £145 is alot of cash to give away. I'm a make up artist so it would be just cosmetics I'd be selling

So what college did you train at?
Are you actually doing a bit of covert advertising or something?
I've not worked with Virgin Vie but I've done other party selling including Avon, my friend still does Ann Summers - I found it really depends on how much work you can get, whether you mind selling to your friends until you get started. I didn't enjoy it.
And if you are a make up artost don;t you want a job in the theatre or in movies? Or do you just want to be one of the Cos girls in a department store, that's not being a make-up artist, you'll not make your commission and bonus faffing about putting make-up on peopel you need to sell the product.

I'd not bother now boxy..........she's going to do a law degree instead.
LOL craft - yes I know (and so would I) - and looking for a bloke.
no - not worth it. you only have so many friends/contacts to flog it to and it is ridiculously overpriced stuff. nice...but when i paid £15 for a french manicure set it was tiny and not overly good stuff. people i know who do these things rarely continue after making a bit of money back. you're better off doing avon as it is quality, cheaper and imho people are much more likely to buy x

@dotawkes31 & craft1948 OBVIOUSLY don't lead a exciting life if your sat behind a computer moking my post !!! why don't you move along...
A friend of mine started doing various homeworking things like Avon, Virgin Vie, Pampered Chef etc and sais Virgin Vie was by far the hardest one to earn decent money on as the rules are more complicated and products were often out of stock for long periods of time or discontinued without notice, so she gave it up
