I try to have it completely different every time... cut/colour /texture But have decided togrow it a bit and as it is in a bob I can get away with fringe trims for a while and do the colours myself... Quite simple for me if I don't like it they can suggest something to sort it or I see the salon manager and refuse to pay the whole bill...
I haven't had my hair cut for ages, but the last two times I did I was very happy with the result. However, a couple of years ago I had a restyle done and I left the salon in tears it was that bad! The stylist was in a hurry to get her young child from the child minder and was not paying attention to my hair as she should have been. I had to walk out through a salon full of teenage girls who were getting their prom dos and they all laughed at me. I've never been so humiliated in my life :(
My hairdresser is an 18 stone Hell's Angel, with a foot long goatee and a ton of tattoos, who runs his own security firm and spends my haircuts regaling me with tales of fights he's been in, limbs he's broken (other people's), cocaine fuelled bikers' parties he's been to and bizarre sexual shenanigans he's got up to. But he gives a helluva good haircut and it's a lot more fun than 'are you going anywhere for your holidays?'. I still tell him I hate it every time it's done - I don't, but I like to tell him I do just for a laugh :)
