Does he like me as a girlfriend?

Ok well I have known this guy since I was like two. I'm 13 and so is he. He teases me alot and we joke around and we have fun and laugh. We are so insink but I don't know if he really likes me as a girlfriend. My friends and two of his recently told me that we are perfect together and we should go out. An example of our relationship is when he hangs out in my pool. He pushes and throws me in and dunks me under and if I'm left alone he swims over and we talk and have fun playing games and stuff. He also gives me guy advice if I need it and he is always there for me like if I'm crying over something. I really like him but I dont know if he likes me. And I don't want our friendship to be weird if I ask him out and he says no. So I want to know if he likes me and I should go for it. I'm open to any advice or answers. Thanks for listening =D!

Go out, have fun "no strings attached" and just see what develops naturally.
My advice - don't think too much about it as a "boyfriend/girlfriend" thing - just enjoy each other's company.
The bottom line as far as I'm concerned - just enjoy things as they are!

ps. If you've known each other for that long, it's likely he sees you more like a "sister" than a potential GF - but thats great.
