Yes.rowan...thanks I have read it. But we do not seem to have answered any of her questions.

1) Has she got Haemophilia?
2) What if, if anything, is the alternative treatment to her menorrhagia as she is under the care of a Gynaecologist

The two most obvious options are 'chemical menopause ' using drugs or a hysteroscopic laser resection which would be a safer procedure but still need factor 8 cover or equivalent arranged with a specialist unit.... I think she needs to be referred to a major centre with a haemophilia unit or similar
