Sore lower jaw

Got appointment for the dentist this Thursday.

Pufffed up cheeks, sore ears, especially the left lug-hole, swelling under the lower jaw-bone in the middle.

Very sore bit behind where the lower front teeth should be. (Full set of dentures btw)

Am slightly apprehensive but also flipping hungry.

Please give me ideas to survive til Thursday as the thought of pureed food (again) ticks me off.

Aw alba - so sorry to hear, jaw pain awful. Couldn't you get an emergency dental appointment on Monday? My dentist keeps a couple of appointments free for urgent cases.

OH suggested I should see the doc, get an emergency appntment that way, but I feel it's more dental than otherwise.

Previous dentist is about 10 miles away so had to register with another who is about a 20 min walk away (they weren't there before :) )
