Does anyone know? My LO has chickenpox and most of the spots are drying up now and I wondered if they are still itchy when they are dry. He is on Piriton which given the fact he has had all sorts of medicine pumped into him recently I would like to stop this as soon as I can but obviously not too soon. I am also applying cream all over him twice a day too and again wondered if I need to do this until the spots have gone completely as they do last for ages and ages? He is fine in himself now and is happy again yippee!

When my little ones had chicken pox i just applied cream until they dried up and they wouldn't take any piriton so the never had any. If he is fine stop the piriton and just keep dabbing the spots to stop any itching.
