I used to have a Les Paul custom "Black Beauty" - I miss it.

Les Paul is THE daddy of guitarists. IMO Gibson and their flying V came about because of him

I used to think the Flying V was a ridiculous shape until I found out they are one of the most comfortable solid bodies to sit down and play !

Les Paul is and was an absolute genius.

Most guitar shapes (electric as fas as I know) are because of him. I've never sat down with a flying V tho (Other Gibsons are chunky and not comfy, as AP saysd Flying V is)

I'm shocked about the 96 year old part of the news.
