This is thought to be viral in origin and add that to the large doses of steroids that are needed there will naturally be a period of lassitude and lethargy. your energy and zest for life (that is if you had any ;-)) will return in good time and will not necessarily be associated with the return of normality to your face.
I cant say much about it but my ex wife had it before she met me, she didnt say much about it but her face recovered 99.9% if you looked very carefully could notice one eye opened a little less than the other, no one else noticed.

Good luck xxx
I had this about 25 years ago. I felt terribly tired and very ill. Luckily I made a full recovery after about five weeks. Best of luck to you.
I had it 26 years ago and it lasted for 6 weeks. I had no pain or tiredness though, and the only thing the doctor prescribed were artificial tears since I wasn't blinking. Like Ratters ex, I have been left with a slight lack of symmetry in my face but it's not really noticeable.
