asbestosis cure

my friend has been diagnosed with asbesotosis

and been told there is nothing that can be done

other than put a claim in

which can take up to 6 years


surley there must be some treatment / tablets that can help

even if not cure it???

I'm unaware of any, but try Googling it for a medically approved cure. I suspect treatment of symptoms may be the best you find. Which is why the stuff is removed from premises by specialist firms who ought to be taking the proper precautions.

There is treatment for asbestosis but no cure as it is a chronic lung disorder of which the main features are a predisposition to lung cancer and mesothelioma a particularly nasty malignant condition of lung.

The treatment is that of chronic bronchitis and as Old_Geezer has suggested.....Google it for further reading.
