kidney lipoma

Hi all, just a quick question my wife has just had an ultrasound and found to have a lipoma in her kidney, she has been having some discomfort of late so had the scan arranged by her doctor. Are there any web sites you know of that help out with things like treatment, diet,etc as we have had a quick look and found nothing and the wife would like some background info to take to the doc's for her next appointment.

Hi boxtops, thanks for the reply, yes we looked at that last nite and gained some info but would like to know if there is anything a little more specific to kidney lipoma, thanks again for the reply

A lipoma is a benign, non malignant fatty tumour which is almost always symptomless.

If she was my wife and had no symptoms referable to the GU tract, i would leave well alone.
