for the past three/four weeks have been having slight pins and needles in left arm - sometimes it feels cold and have slight crampy type pain going into ring finger - have recently had surgery on my shoulder and was asked at post op check up whether or not I had these symptoms - then I did not. Feel absolutely fine and it goes off the more I use it (at night it's worse) Don't want to assume it's connected with shoulder but don't want to ignore it if it isn't!

If it is the same arm and shoulder that was operated upon, then i feel that your symptoms are connected.

What operation did you have and for what medical condition?

thank you sqad -shoulder impingement one - can't remember the exact medical name.
Thanks it sounds as though the impingement release is now starting to "impinge" again.
This is often temporary and may settle so give it two or three more weeks and if it doesn't settle then you may need to consult your surgeon again.
