Hearing Aid Battery Life
4 Answers
A friend tells me that she has to replace the batteries in her Siemens hearing aid every four days. Whilst working as a nurse I rarely needed to replace batteries for many, many elderly peoples' hearing aids over the years. Advice please and thanks in anticipation.

It depends on the hearing aid. The more powerful the aid, the shorter battery life. I have a behind the ear powerful, digital HA and battery life for me is approx 4 days - thats switching them overnight, and wearing roughly 16 hours per day. All previous HA's I had, had much more battery life, but were no where near as powerful as the ones I'm wearing now.
