3 Answers
i had this prob before were suddenly i got a blocked ear- ear drops do nothing- warm olive oil- nothing.
there is no pain or irritation or sitching at all or any other symtom- just annoyance. i have not had a flu or cold or anything. neither have i been on a plane, and i havent listened to any cds with headphones for over 4 months
the last time the prob lasted for ages and either went away on its own - or i just got used to it - but now its def returned
any ideas?- chewing gum perhaps?
its 11.30...what?..speak louder i cant.....

Syringing is the only real answer for earwax (which I presume is what you have), but the docs told me they won't do it unless you have been using eardrops/oil for at least 10 days.
Go to the docs asap to make sure it is just wax, then get them to syringe it.
I can hear out of mine now, but both ears still feel "full" and they are still ringing a bit, but I think I've just got used to it now. It's annoying though eh...
Try this: take a gulp of water, hold it in your mouth, then close your mouth, hold your nose, and blow out so your cheeks are full of air then swallow. You may hear "popping" in your ears which should clear this annoyance. You may have blocked eustachian tubes leading to a difference in air pressure between your inner ear and the atmosphere. The popping technique often works.
