If you give her no attention for doing the things you don't want her to, it'll click eventually!! Positively reward the good and ignore as much of the bad as you can.
Drinking dirty dishwater?-easy solution-wash up and empty the bowl-how tall is she anyway? how on earth can a toddler reach the sink? If she's climbing up-stop her! Goodness its not rocket science. When out, don't let her run off, hold her hand or keep her in her pushchair so she can't get to the water. 'Terrible two's' is a myth perpetuated by parenting gurus-naughty behaviour is a worry as well as an embarrassment-to parents as well as onlookers but things will get better.
Mine's like that at 15 months (looking forward to the terrible twos!!) she slaps herself on the head and pulls her hair - it's her way of showing how frustrated she is. She also likes to do dangerous things for attention, like climb up on the dining table, don't remember #1 doing this.
Sounds like you're doing all the right things, ignoring her food fads. They'll grow out of it...I hope!! ;)

yeah k8 it's 2nd child (or as i like to put it, last child syndrome) once you get one like that, you don't have anymore!! My first only ever had one tantrum - we looked at him and then walked away and he didn't bother again......it took No 2 a good few years to get the message and he still likes to slam a door from time to time (now aged 10)!
My oldest daughter went through a brief stage of biting her own hand and pulling huge chunks out of her hair at around 18 months old. We put it down to frustration and not being able to verbalise that well. As soon as she could rant a bit she stopped, and then it was simply a matter of not responding to the ranting and only responding when she spoke quietly and lucidly when distraction worked very well. As far as food goes, we never went down the ' go hungry' route since both my wife and I thought that it's unfair to expect anyone to eat soemthing which potentially they might hate, so mealtimes were never stressful.
theres a kick stool in the kitchen so i can reach high shelves without pulling my bad shoulder or back. she can manouvere this around quit easily to watch me cook in the kitchen and 'help' by eating and taste testing the veg. She wont go in the buggy she prefers to walk every where now, and has done for months only go in the buggy when forced and then screams the entire time. Her verbalising is getting better and her list of words is getting longer she just cant all ways say what is wrong. Nox, we give her what we are eating broken down into small portions, or like last night i was cooking my husband and i a fry up and i made her an omlette instead-which she loved.
