Climbers to grow in pots

I have a south facing garden with a wall towards the west bordering my patio. I would like to put some trellis on this wall and grow some climbgers underneath, but they have to be in a couple of large pots, if possible for longer than just a couple of years. I don't want anything that grows too bushy and sticks out too much on the patio - we sit there a lot in the summer, so something with flowers - maybe scented too - but the most important thing is, that it can be grown in the large pots and covers a trellis. I would really appreciate any suggestions and thank you in advance.

Trachelospermum jasminoides.

Not invasive, evergreen, lovely scented white flowers all summer.

I've got a roof terrace so everything I have is in pots ...And I've got 2 Wisterias (fantastic flowers) Passion flower...Roses... Honeysuckle.and grapes...All climbers and happy in big pots...

as stated honeysuckle would be ideal but a few words of advice.
the choice of container is vital.
they must withstand the very hot summer sun and bear in mind that during holiday periods must be fed and watered.
as to best choice of tubs i suggest you scoure the net as more and more people are growing in tubs and check out for best and latest advice and any new materials.
