is installing a log burner a good idea if someone in the house suffers with recent lung prolems(collasped lung).?

There is only some smoke when you light it and when you open the door to put more logs on, otherrwise it is a sealed system. I am not saying this is a definitive answer, maybe you could ask your GP/consultant?
