not sure it was wise in retrospect, but i am so fed up that it was a time out to whatever is going on. Do you ever wish to throw in the towel, give in to an illness, let it take it's course, come what may. I don't wish to sound gloomy but brassed off good and proper with no knowing what is wrong, a viral illness, if that is what it is, that has lasted into a fifth week, if someone could sort it please do, before my sanity goes too

I don't actively do anything to stave off the inevitable, but I don't try to hasten it either.
If my consultant was right with the time frame when I was diagnosed I should have at least 5 years left, i'm too bloody stubborn to die though so I reckon it will be longer than that :)

Keep your chin up Em - you know I have been the same as you, five weeks now, heavy cold, then choking cough, then sore throat, then flu symptoms shivering and sweating, then extreme tiredness and weakness. BUT I'm please to tell you I'm at long last feeling better in the past few days, been shopping today (retail therapy!) and although I'm not 100% and still have sore throat and an occasional coughing fit - I feel much better - Yay!. Cheer up Em - there IS light at the end of this tunnel!! Hope you feel much better very soon x
