I am sorry but did not know which subject to post this under. I swallowed a dental crown with its post attached while eating dinner at about 7.00 pm last evening (Sat actually) and don't know how long it will take to retrieve it. How long does it take to get from the stomach to the other end. The trouble is I ate a nut roast that evening also tonight (Sunday) and all the nuts and seeds look just like the tooth looks. I knew it was loose and had kept putting it back in temporarily for appearance sake and forgot to remove it before eating. I have a dentakl appointment tomorrow Monday at 2.20 pm. Help!!!

yuk.....would you really want it back in your mouth after that journey.... you could try a laxative to speed it through and the crown will be a lot harder than the seeds a nd nuts suggest you put poo that you do in plastic bag and squish it in that until you see or feel the crown
If the nuts and seeds have arrived........then so will your dental crown........just a matter now of sh1t sifting.........not for me though.
I read this and now I need therapy.
Is it a metal crown, if so borrow a metal detector and keep it neer the loo !
