Update for Sqad
1 Answers
Hi, not much of an update but I spoke to my GP today.
My bloods are ok save a raised ESR but that's not unusual for me.
She said the urine test sent to the lab showed up some red blood cells and my creatine level was raised. She said we will keep an eye on it and to come to get stuff retested in a couple of weeks. She said the bilirubin and urobi thing is most likely caused by the gallstones. I think she put the blood and protein down to an infection probably (though she said infection didn't show in the lab) which maybe had gone to my kidneys.
I also queried a red rash that came up over my nose and cheeks, had a similar one in hospital with the acute cholecystitis so wondered if it was the antibiotics or just something to do with having an infection. It was two different antibiotics, co-amoxiclav and amoxicillin but she said they both have the same thing in so could be a sensitivity to that. Never had a problem with amoxycillin before but I guess you can develop new sensitivities?
Still feel rubbish and very headachey and quite sore and uncomfortable and generally out of sorts. Done my 3 day course of antibiotics so will see how I go.
Further to the extra info on my last post I've now sorted an anaesthetist referral before my new op date so that's sorted :)
