Am wondering ....

First day back at school and am wondering
!.Will he come home with all the uniform/equipment that he went with this morning?

2.Will he still have his Oyster card, or have lost it on 100 metre walk from bus stop to front door? again!

3. How may letters demanding money for school strips, mufti day, school disco's, swimming naked down the River Nile....(ok last one may nor be trur lol) will he bring home?

4.Will he remember anything that he was taught today or just say "dunno" when I ask what he did today?

5.Will he say he has no homework, till I look in his planner and then say"oh yeh, forgot about that bit!"

I'm sure he'll return home prim and proper as when you left him, oyster intact, smartly dressed, letter of donation appreciated but not necessary and he's probably figured out the basics of quantum mechanics so very little homework... and yet the Ironing still needs to be done doesn't it.

Why not pick him up and drop him off at school and then you will receive the answers quicker and we will receive the updates quicker!

Youngest Junior O is home from school with torn trousers and his brand new shoes (£45...sob..) scuffed.
His day was "boring" and when asked what he'd had for lunch, he said he couldn't remember.
It is like pulling teeth!

1. - Lost property: 1 jacket, 1 lunchbox and 1 sweatshirt down
2. Walk to school so no travel card
3. £50 for next payment for school trip for boy 1 and £20 next payment for school trip for boy 2
4. school was either great (boy 1) or crap (boy 2)
5. Boy 1 says he has done all his homework for the week in class while waiting on stuff to be handed out/taken in, Boy 2 says he has none and has either lost his books/left them at school/not been given them out so I can't check

Everything back to normal then :o)

1. Yes , amazingly!!
2. Must have sat down with Oyster card in back pocket - it has cracked, wouldnt scan on bus and so had to pay full fare and I now have to order new card at £10.
3.Letter for trip to France costing £265!
4.Came home saying how funny history was as a pupil spent 40 mins playing music out loud on his mobile, whilst dancing and they didnt do any work as the teacher was too busy lauging ( he has to be joking, surely???)
5. Has no homework and none in planner - school as cr&p as ever then!

Youngest only gave me his uniform to wash today. I spent yesterday doing washing, got then to strip their beds etc etc....and he gives me his uniform today!!!

lol Ummmm - I made my two strip and change when they came home 2 weeks ago and shoved the whole lot straight in the wash - I knew if I didn't do it straight away it'd get forgotten.

We have underfloor heating in the kitchen so he laid his uniform out to dry. Woke up this morning and the cat was asleep on it...

The morning has gone better than I thought. Son 2 decided he's going to walk as he doesn't like waiting for son 1.

Dropped mine off at school this morn as was cheaper than giving him the bus fare till the new Oyster card arrives.
