mrsmaveric had a tooth out today....

the dentist put a small antiseptic plug type thingy where the tooth had been it was a back tooth,..and its still there [the plug thingy not the tooth] does it dissolve or just fall out??? please help she is driving me insane lol...

Hey stoke, be more sympathetic, I think she she needs to take it out when the bleeding stops
I'm sure it just stays in until it falls out itself.
if its like a big piece of gauze then she needs to remove it about 30 mins-1 hour after having the tooth out depending on whether the bleeding has subsided.
Didn't the dentist tell her when to remove it? You could always ring up and ask.
Love to Mrs.Maverick. If the bleeding has stopped the plug shoud be removed.

hi owdhamer hope you are well..thanks to you all for your answers i will tell her to take a look...im afraid the dentist never said anything to her...she has took it out now but she says she can still taste the antiseptic...im sure she will be fine...sorry sibton i will take good care of her...
