Feldenkrais therapy
2 Answers
Has anyone had any experience of Feldkenrais Method therapy? I had a 20-minute session at a open day at the weekend, and found that my lower back problems eased considerably for a few hours.
As far as I can tell it's a mix of physical manipulation and some kind of spiritual stuff, a bit like reiki, and is used a lot for spine problems. But I'd like to know if anyone has found any long-term benefit from it. I'm wondering if it would be worth investing in a course - but not if it's just a load of tosh!

No, I haven't tried acupuncture, but it was something the consultant suggested and said she was sorry her NHS Trust couldn't offer it. I haven't been able to find a practitioner that does evenings or weekends, and I'm taking so much time off work for pain management that I don't want to push my luck with my boss. But I will bear it in mind, so thanks for mentioning it. x
