Just announced tonight - Glenfield Hospital children's heart surgery unit to close after many petitions and a huge fight in our County to keep it open .................. how can this be in the patient's interests?

Hi Flicrat - I don't think we have spoken! In answer to your question - Yes I did watch the torch relay in my home town it was brilliant, what an atmosphere, there were crowds there ........... luckily the rain just kept away until afterwards as we walked home. Pity there wasn't a special BBC programme made about it in Leicestershire, Central News always seems concentrated about Nottingham where the studios are, which is not that fair to the rest of us.
