Interesting. A very mixed bag of answers. The £80 covered a cut and highlights I believe. It's tricky isn't it. If we tipped everyone for everything, we'd all be broke. The people on supermarket tills are probably on a low wage but we don't tip them. And I don't see why you need to tip for someone doing a good job - don't you pay them to do that. But it's just one of those things that we do. I'm off to the hairdressers next week, so I'll have to sit there pondering what to do. Frankly I'd rather pay more and have a no tips policy, saves any embarrassment if you ask me. Thanks everyone.
