My last depo was due at xmas but I decided not to have anymore. Continued to have no period until around the start of June but since then it's been pretty much one week off/one week on. Has anyone got any idea how long they should take to regulate? And is it likely any medication I take could affect it? It's driving me bonkers.
It could take up to a year to get back into any kind of menstrual regularity, but as long as there is no post coital bleeding or post coital pain then it is no big deal.
I really am no expert on these things but could you not go on the mini-pill [if it still exists] to regulate them?
But then as long as you're not in a sexual relationship why not just give it a bit more time.
Nosha, it seems to be the complete opposite for me.
I'm happy to just wait Lisa, I'm not trying to have babies or anything. I just felt it was a good time to give my body a break while I'm not getting any. Just forgot how much of a pain periods are.
Aren't the just! But, having to had to have a hysterectomy earlier this year they are a thing of the past for me :0)
I belong to a forum called the Hyster sisters and there are women on there that mourn the premature loss of their periods! I'm like....really!!!! I love taking the pee out of my daughter when she's on, one of lifes little pleasures for me lol
It's nice you are able to have a sense of humour about it. Not sure how I'd feel if I were in that position. Suppose I should be grateful that everything seems to be working as it should be :)
Hey, it cured my cancer and I already have my kids. It could have been a very different story in all respects.... If I'd been younger than I am[43] and not had my kids I would have been in bits....but me? I'd rather get another Great Dane!
