I am due a MRI scan and suffer from mild claustrophobia. It has been suggested that I will be given a small dose of Diazepam to help me.

While I appreciate that the dose is key here will I be able to drive an hour or so afterwards assuming it is a 'small' dose?

Thanks Sqad.
EC I have just had one and the nack is close your eyes all the time
while in the scanner it was no bother at all
all the best to you
Just close your eyes and tell yourself it won't take long. It doesn't hurt, and you'll be given a button to hold in your hand to press if you become distressed - so you can be sure you'll always be quite safe. I had one a couple of months ago - and was even given a choice of music to listen to! Just go with it and it will be over before you know it.
