you know when you go on holiday somewherte hot and your fingers swell up does anyone get that in normal life mine are like it every morning when i wake up

I get it more noticably in the cold or if it's raining though I get hot swollen bits anyway with arthritis.

Heat is bad for swelling generally - I get it particularly badly in my feet.

A simple reason for this might be your posture when asleep.

This almost certainly is "no big deal" and is due to fluid retention (oedema)

It would be worth giving your GP a visit as there are one or two medical conditions that may cause this.

Mine swell up so much my wedding ring cuts through my skin!!

i was on ramipril and amlopidine you may remember the post i put on here doctor took me off all medication to get me to monitor at home for month to see wat my reading at home are as i panic when in doctors when on medicatio bp was around 123/78 at moment in 2nd week of montoring without tablets ita around 129/82

I would suggest that you monitor the situation over the next few months and watch out for swollen ankles.
