How much would it cost to have a mole removed,it's non-cancerous so not available in the NHS.

Depends....you would need consultation fee, fee for the surgeon, fee for biopsy and theatre fees.

Operation would be quite simple unless you needed a skin graft.

Total at most £2,500....at least £1500 depending upon what needed to be done.
Not available?

My doctors remove them.
ummmm.... just guessing, I think that chrissy has a pigmented mole of above average size in a place that she feels self conscious about.

In which case i wouldn't let any GP near me.
Oh...okay.
It depends where it is. If it can be considered to be causing a problem in any way, you can have it removed on the NHS. Someone I know had one on his face which the GP deemed could make wearing spectacles uncomfortable, so that was removed on the NHS. The other, just above his lip, he had to pay for.
I know someone who had a mole removed from the back of their neck, it wasn't cancerous, he had it removed at the day surgery in the hospital on the NHS. I would certainly ask your GP about it first.
My GP offered to remove a mole on my back "just in case" I declined, the only problem I get from it is it can be a little itchy.

Thank you all for your answers,I should have referred to the sheet my doctor gave me! I thought it was a mole it's not it's a Seborrhoeic Wart.It can be treated with liquid nitrogen, can I do this myself?
If you want to minimise scarring then have it done by cryosurgery (freezing) and that would have to be done by the doctor.

if done privately, then £200 would see you clear.
Ratter, get it removed.
