I have a very arthritic knee and have been advised to consider buying an exercise bike. Should I consider a recumbent bike or an upright variety? Any help would be most welcome. Thank you.
if you have trouble bending/stretching the knee, you might have problems doing a full revolution of the pedals (i do). Se if you can try out a friends first. As to the upright or recumbent, it wont make a difference if the object is to bend and stretch the knee - either will do that
Sir Ranulph, I believe, is at present preparing to cross the South Pole in it's mid-winter period so it's certainly done him some good.
