I am a fulltime carer for my wife who is totally chairbound. It is essential that she retains her upper body strength, particularly to her arms, so that she can transfer between her wheelchairs/toilet etc. Can anybody please recommend any DVD's that are available which demonstrate how to exercise in order to build and maintain the neccesary muscles. Many thanks.

Just type "Wheelchair Exercises" into youtube, loads of free stuff.
don't forget that one of the best ways to maintain that upper body strength and transfer facility is to do it as often as possible, even when she doesn't need to. If she can't maintain the necessary power and dexterity, there are various assistive devices that the NHS or social services can supply, talk to an Occupational Therapist, either through the GP or at the Hospital, or through social services.
