Knee Problem

Whatever have I done ?
A couple of years ago I had tablets for a painful front knee, which just happened, no injury at all.
This last week I have had a bad pain in the back of my knee joint on the same knee. Today I am having a problem walking , because of the pain and it all feels out of sinc.
I could make an emergency appointment I suppose at the doctors, has any one had a similar experience or know what is wrong ? TIA

This could be due to many things and without further information and particularly physical examination no definitive diagnosis can be formulated, particularly as i do not know your age.

However......osteohondritis dessicans patellar comes to mind.(Google it)

The doctor said it was a little arthritis/wear and tear and gave me Naproxen 500mg and Lansoprazole 30 mg and told me to rest it as much as possible.

I was in much pain today with alot of 'clicking' and had to go back to doctors.
Turns out it is a Bakers Cyst.
