Name Of Emotion

I'm trying to figure out the name of a particular emotion for something I'm trying to write but I can't figure out what it would be called! I'll try to describe it - it's like a cross between feeling defenceless, disheartened, alone and isolated. This character is crying but not sobbing, stood with arms out asking for help but knowing that the person in front of them either can not help, or wont help.

I can picture what I see but I can't describe it, so I can't even find an example of an image online or a video clip!
