Just wondering what would happen if someone who doesn't or never has smoked put the patches on or the sprays to stop smoking on?

I really don't understand the question........."what would happen to what?"

What would happen 'to the person' who put stop smoking patches on or used stop smoking sprays if they did not smoke.
They'd ingest nicotine.
Ah!...got yer.

Well I am not a pharmacologist but basically nicotine is a central nervous stimulant which stimulates tne production of adrenaline.
Depending upon the nicotine strength of the patches/sprays will depend on the reaction of the body.

I would suggest, an increase in pulse rate, an increase in BP, a sense of heightened" awareness and a temporary felling of well being.

... and possibly an urge to stand in Bus Shelters outside pubs ?
Seriously though folks - I've seen someone try this ... it wasn't much fun - palpitations and sweating rather than anything remotely good/fun.
... and nausea.
At least he wouldn't have to worry about man boobs like OH when my HRT patches mysteriously transferred during the night. :-)
i read this as i was curious by cigarette pathes thought a new law had been passed where we could only smoke on designated paths lol

I wonder also would they become addicted to it if they had never smoked?
Why would someone who never smoked use a patch, other than just once to see what happened?
You could build up an addiction to nicotine by using the patches. Though why anyone would want to, as EvianBaby mentioned, is another question.
I changed from getting my nicotine hit from cigarettes to Niquitine tablets. I'm still addicted. :-(
I want to shout this from the rooftops so will everyone pass it on to all smokers. I have smokes heavily for moves sixty years and have tried everything on the market to stop.. I. Was told about tablets called CHAMPIX only obtainable on prescription. I went to see the practice nurse and I got the prescription. She told me to start taking the tablets but to carry on smoking and that my brain would tell me when to stop. I took them for two weeks and could not believe it when I got up the next morning and never even thought about smoking. That was July last year and I have not wanted a cigarette since then. If they worked for methey will work for any one.
