while I was at Diabetic Clinic I had my BP checked, nurse said its up higher than normal for me (now I don't like needles so that explains it being up a little) it was 168/84. When I went to the dr she checked my heart rate, we chatted she checked it again and checked my BP now down to 148/64 but my heart rate was still 138 beats per min - just curious as to what the ECG would have shown and why did she feel it necessary? Should I be worried?

hello queen

others more qualified than me will be able to answer your question medically, in the mean time i would say do not worry.
the doctors are obviously investigating...and worrying will not help lower your heart beat
ECG will not tell you anything about your BP.
However it MAY give a clue as to the cause of your high pulse rate.
I cannot, at the moment say more than that.

Hello Excel

I'm not worried to be honest, just wondered why they thought it necessary to do this. I'm quite cool calm and collected :)

Thank you Sqad. I'm back down to my normal 92 beats per min. I guess if they were worried they wouldn't have sent me home.
LOL....quite.
that sounds better, what's your BP now? Someone of your age should really be around or under 110-20 over
