How Do I Get My Money Back From The Dentist?
8 Answers
My wife's had big problems with a partial denture made for her recently. The dentist is willing to make new one, but we don't trust him to get it right and have asked for our money back. This he refuses. I'd appreciate any advice from you AB guys who've had a similar problem or know the legal nuances?

Thanks for your reply, Bednobs. It's all very recent. First a tooth was loosened and subsequently lost when the impression of lower teeth was taken out. Then the lower denture was painful and she couldn't use it at all. When when this had been fixed the first time she used it the upper denture broke. Now this may be just bad luck, but I don't care; we have no confidence in the dentist and are paying to have the whole thing done again, which is why I want my money back. The treatment was private, by the way. I think the bill was £900, which is not a fortune, but we haven't got anything to show for it.
