About 6 years ago I worked in an office with Philips, and one of the office workers brought in this wooden device that looked like a spine which you lay on, and it helped straighten your back. I can't really remember much else about it, apart from it was supposed to be used on the floor on a frequant basis and it would help the structure of your back. My question is, does anyone know the name of this thing and where I can find additional information about it, as my back is getting worse and worse. Had to go to hospital last night because I hurt my upper back, but I have a really bad lower back too.

Thanks

Some kind of orthopaedic back stretcher like this?

whether or not it will work depends on what is wrong in the first place. Gt an appointment with a decent sports physio and get an opinion.
