Husband aged 63 does 5k in 26 mins.
I am mid-fifties and do it in 27 minutes but I'm just keeping fit a couple of times a week rather than racing.
But I don't think the time is that important unless he is competitive- regularly running/jogging 5km is a good achievement for someone in their fifties in my opinion.
I should add that sometimes if I'm not focusing on the time or don't feel like pushing myself on the hills it can take me nearer 30 minutes. It doesn't matter to me though- it's the exercise that counts.
I suppose that's another factor- is it a flat course or a hilly one?
