Liver Function Test

My friend is worried about the results of her recent liver function test from the doctor (to the extent that she is delaying picking the result up). Now, I have liver function tests biannually, due to an Asacol regime for colitis, but i've never looked into the details of it. Anyone wised-up on this kind of thing? She wants to now what kind of things are tested, and what the parameters of safety (and non-commensuration with them) might imply? All details gratefully accepted.

I keep trying to ABize her, but she clearly realises it's easier to get someone else to chase her queries........

No Trillipse, it really depends on why the doctor want to do her LFTs. The details of her signs and symptoms are not really fare for Ab and so.....she has to suck her belly button in - or whatever - and go to her Doctor. With her permission and the doctors, you or her mum or the cat can stay in with her.

Oh and good luck, they're probably insignificant.

Thanks Peter, this is much as I have advised her. I am intrigued as to why you say "not fare for Ab" though...?
