Has anyone any experience of this product? It's quite expensive so before lashing out, I would welcome any comments as to whether or not it has been beneficial to anyone who has one and used it. Many thanks.
The principle is quite simple in that it squeezes blood from the feet ( where there is a veritable pool) through the veins to the heart.
"Might" be of use if varicose veins or thrombo phlebitis is a problem and also post operatively. e,g hip replacement to reduce incidence of deep vein thrombosis, but would be useless in increasing the blood supply (arterial) to the legs.
I would agree with Sqad - and to be honest, the type of muscle stimulation it is offering could just as easily be achieved by easy exercises of your own - feet flat to the floor, and whilst keeping ball/toes flat, lifting and lowering your heel. You could also just contract and relax your calf muscles. These exercises would have just as much benefit as that machine, for a lot less money :)
My mother in law used the Revitive IX after having a hip operation and it really helped with her recovery. She lives on a farm up a steep hill that to get to the village you have to go by car so exercising without putting too much pressure on her limbs was a bit of a challenge. She is pretty skeptical on modern tech but now seems to be a convert.
Her husband (a decade younger), uses it regularly because he gets aching knees and has noticed that he can do more on the farm on a daily basis in line with what he was doing 3 years ago.
