and now its almost 5am. I have had terrible anxiety all night. Feeling nauseas, but nothing happening. Very tired, but cannot get comfortable, I have been on the sofa since 2am. I am now feeling very tired, but still cannot sleep.
Same here, phleb. I felt extremely tired at midnight, so went to bed but couldn't sleep so did a crossword til 3am. Woke up again at 5. Like you, very tired but can't sleep.
I hope you get some peace. Just lie still and focus on breathing. Forget about sleep and try to relax instead.

Sometimes low background noise helps take away the focus of trying too hard to get to sleep. Knowing most others are asleep & you're not can add to the anxiety. What are you anxious about? Hopefully you've drifted off now x
I nodded off at 5.30 ish, now I have the most terrible pounding headache, and feel rotten. As if I have a hangover, I haven't touched a drop of alcohol, obviously. Anyway, now im going into the garden to hang the washing out, and the fresh air might do me good.
