At Least Once A Month

I get a pain in my head neck and shoulders that can only be described as feeling like major tension it also makes me feel a bit sick..I have got an appointment to see the doctor about it but thats over a week away, so was wondering if anyone has got any clues as to what could cause it, it goes away after 2 or 3 days until the next time tia

Well, the obvious thing that comes to mind is cervical spondylosis...wear and tear, probably do your your occupation (whatever that is)and secondly it may well be a type of tension headache (migraine)
