I have asked 'The Cat's Mother' (aka boxtops) to post this for me as I am going to be unavailable at the usual posting time.

This report was prepared at 4pm Sunday and includes the entries of all players up to and including twix123.

Despite the mild winter, beejay1124 immediately spotted a SNOWFLAKE and, amazingly for somone currently enduring a heatwave, so did seekeerz (within the bonus window) - 2 points each.

Aquagility then donned his LEATHER JACKET to rid his garden of crane-fly larvae. Owllady was in time for 2 points on this one too.

Owllady also claimed 2 points for SPRING FLOWERS along with seekeerz (a total of 4 points each)

It was two and a half hours later that the final link of GARDEN GATE was suggested by our latest player Andres. She also collected a single for Snow Flake making her the third double-hitter of this weekend.
Welcome to the game Andres - you've certainly hit the ground running.

With three double-hitters it was not difficult to decide who should be hotshot as our newcomer showed us how it should be done and she was the only player to suggest that elusive final link.
