Toe is still not any better despite having my antibiotics being changed. I finish them tomorrow - should I go back and finish the Flucloxacillin which was making a dent in the healing of my toe?

I know Anne but I don't have time to go to the GP - not withstanding the fact it's a nightmare trying to get an appointment :/ I'll give them a call and see if the duty dr can call me and tell me what they think
make the call Q. :)
Question Author
Just waiting for a call back
No, you don't play around with antibiotics. Why didn't you finish the flucloxacillin in the first place?
Question Author
Because I was taken off them and given something else that hasn't worked, all it did was clear up the virus I had at the same time. The flucloxacillin was helping and another GP changed them
any news ?
Question Author
Sadly not Anne. They called I answered and the line went dead and I lost my signal :( and the house phones aren't working as the batteries are very dodgy. I'm hoping they will call me again I not I'll try calling tomorrow when I'm at work as they would have a better chance of getting me there I think
if you don't get a call, will you visit a drop in centre tonight ?
Question Author
It's not as bad as it was so I can wait until tomorrow Anne. I'm doing what the podiatrist said and keeping it clean.
it is chemically impossible for anti biotics to clear up a virus
I've said that, blackcat on the other thread. Apparently, for infected toe. I hope it gets better soon, queenie x
Question Author
I know they were for my toe but they actually helped clear whatever lurgy was lurking in my system - strange I know but they did and they had done bu$$er all in my toe :( thank you Pixie :)
Get well soon, Queenie, hugs
Question Author
Ta Sibs :) I'm fine other than my toe and I'm a bag of nerves :/
Not going dancing on Saturday night then, Queenie ;-)

Please get it seen to asap, queenie, you're obviously in a lot of pain xx
