Just Had Sad News
21 Answers
I've just heard that my Auntie (not a real blood Auntie, but a close friend of my family) has inoperable brain tumours. She's been given just a few months to live.
I've known her all my live. She is one of the kindest, most caring and loyal people I know.
It's just so unfair.
I don't have a question, I just wanted to share with you, I know you are all a compassionate bunch.

She is only in her early 60s. She has had so much tragedy in her life, lost her son in a car crash, survived cancer several times and looks after her teenage granddaughter since her son died (her daughter in law isn't fit to be a mother).
I'm planning to go and see her this week coming, I have to go before she forgets who everyone is.
How can one person suffer so much in life? I can't imagine her not being around.

Sorry to hear that 2sp, a friend of ours died of brain tumours just a year ago, he was in his late 60's. He went into a hospice, and they were so kind and helpful to him, his wife visited every day, she said thet also helped her to come to terms with it, and he was a peace when he died. It's so sad.
