I'm no expert but I believe your grandson shouldn't be attempting to retract it at that age anyway.
Or are you saying that he has retracted it and is now unable to return it himself back over the glans(tip)?
If it's the latter, he may be suffering a paraphimosis, which can sometimes require medical intervention and possible circumcision.
No not got any other info, but he was sore the other day, and I had perhaps the mistaken belief that little boys should retract their foreskins from about aged six. Thanks for your care, and perhaps I'm worrying unnecessarily ...hope I am....
No problem. As long as he's not sore now then it's probably nothing.
If he does suffer pain though I'd err on the side of caution and have him examined, he may have a tightening that may require a circumcision, but that can be planned as elective surgery.
Hope that helps.
I love it Sqad that you call me Ethel! Ethelburga was a Queen and the name of the school I went to, in Harrogate, a few moons ago now! But Ethel brings a strange image, I suspect to many, imagining a very elderly maiden aunt, maybe! Such is life.
No not the ladies college. Queen Ethelburgas! We were up on the hill, nearest neighbours, the Army Apprentice School! Hmmm, many pranks, but it was a while ago! Innocent compared to anything that goes on today!
