No you are rather picky arent you ??!!!
It is more than likely your anxiety making you ever aware of your breathing, but of course if you are convinced the Doctor is wrong you must go back.

Picky about what Gordon?

I just feel that I cant get my breath. I read a previous post that an 80 year old woman was feeling breathless and xray revealed a previous heartattack. Im just a bit surprised that a doctor can tell just by listening with a stephescope that there is nothing to worry about no ecg chest xray or echo

Given the obvious heightened state of your anxiety, I was concerned you may have forgotten that post and there could have been something helpful to you on there, also to anyone who hasn't already seen it, it helps to define your present condition and could help someone to come up with a helpful suggestion, ok?
Gordie, have you tried the paper bag for anxiety? That will take 2 minutes. No pain anywhere?
yes, makes sense baldric...........

No pain anywhere
are you in pain from your steroid injection today ?
Please try it, gordie. If you don't have one breathe in and out of cupped hands for a couple of minutes. Let us know if it helps.

Yes it seems to be helping I think I am in a vicious cycle I am feeling breathless so I think about it and panic and it makes it worse then I start to think heart attack pulmonary embolism heart failure and I get more breathless I do normally have Atrial fibrillation but its been ok recently my pulse is 78 so i dont think that is prob. I dont need to take a breath I can breathe without a deep breath cant I

Pain from injection not too bad taken 1 cocodamol
That is excellent if it's helping, gordie. As boxy says, it sounds very much like hyperventilation- a panic attack. I've had them in the past and they're terrifying. Keep going until you feel calm. A panic attack isn't dangerous x
My 'normal' pulse is 90 plus, we all operate at different rates.
Relax if you can.
Any better?

Just sitting here, watching TV & AB, no alcohol, mine is 66.
