ITCHY BOTTOM

I have an itchy bottom, which makes me feel like I want to scrape it with a brush. I had worms once before and bought tablets from the chemist. Having taken the one tablet cure I'm still itchy - is this my imagination? Could this be anything else? If I don't eat regularly (or enough bran) I do get piles but I dont think this is the problem. Why am i still itchy ? Is there another problem - colon probs - Im worrying because I fear it could be something more serious. There is no blood in my excrement although sometimes a little on occassions if my diet has been poor for a period and I am blocket. I'm a 32 year old fit male. Please advise. Thank you

The best person to advise you would be your GP. I feel that if you are really worried you should go rather than posting on a website and inviting answers to a serious problem from people you dont know.

By the way, writing in capitals is seen as shouting and therefore very bad manners.

There used to be a site dedicated to embarassing health problems, although I have never visited it. If you can find it it may be helpful, otherwise try your GP.
