Does anyone else suffer with these symptoms and how does it make you feel and how do you deal with it. I have had ECGs and Echocardiograms which show no problems with my heart but obviously the electrics need a rewire :) I get fed-up with these strange feelings in my chest but sometimes don't seel them at all. I have been told that some time in the future I will probably need a pacemaker how do they decide when?

The decision is usually based on function. Can you live a normal life? do everything that you want to do? Do you get dizzy spells or pass out?

Nope woofgang everything else is fine. Really its just this annoying feeling.
My Dh had it all is life, from childhood. He died aged 61 from completely unrelated cancer. He had many many ECG's pre ops and all found his heart to be in A1 condition.
No I do not suffer from those symptoms so i will direct my answer to the last part of your post........how do they decide?

They don't decide.....you do.

If you get dizziness, lightheadness and attacks of fainting with tiredness and apathy affecting your quality of life, then that would suggest to the cardiologists that an implantation would be beneficial.

Very occasionally....the onset of heart failure....shortness of breath and swelling of the ankles might well indicate that a pacemaker would be advantageous.
