Clearasil can be very harsh on your skin and strip it of all its oils -this then promotes your skin to make more oil so its not the best way . Visible pores are basically pores that are trapping dirt so firstly get your skin really clean using a mild facial scrub -go to Boots or Superdrug and get a 'natural ' one. Use the scrub on an evening to really get your face clean and then apply a light face cream or lotion for oily skin, not too much. In the morning wash your face with water and really get it dry with a towel and apply a little more face ream. You will NEVER have a flawless skin -no one does -do not take any notice of the pics you see in magazines they all all airbrushed. If its any help one of my daughters had horrible skin from the age of 12 to 16. She now has lovely skin so it is a teenage thing and wil get better -just make sure you clean your face really well every day.
Hi Trevor,
These skin issues are common for boys of your age. I think puberty brings all these hassles along with it. But don't stress over it and just chill. I'm sure you're not the only one among your friends facing this problem. One of my cousins has gone through this and trust me he was equally miffed with his red marks and unwanted acne like you are!
Firstly, work on your diet. Avoid junk food as much as you can and shift to healthy eating. Take ample fluids and follow a workout routine. Sweating helps your skin to breathe and relax at the same time. Take morning walks on green grass and again drink lots and lots of water.
Also, be careful of the bath products that you're using. Don't use products with chemical ingredients and rather try organic skin care products. Regular body products have some amount of chemicals and medicinal properties that might be really harsh for your already sensitive skin. Go for organic and natural skin care products like dead sea mud facial cleanser, anti acne facial mask by http:// www.cas tlebath s.com/s kin-car e-for-m en.html . I know people who have benefited from these products. I'm sure you'll love the results!
Best of luck!
